My new studio is finished!  After six weeks of work, I have new walls, a new floor, new furniture, and a new easel!  

My Web site has a new look too!  While some of the former content remains, a great many new works are shown especially in the portraits/figures section.  I invite you to click on it and see many of the works I have completed this past year.

Above is my most recent commission, a 20 x 24 oil on canvas, completed in December 2009.  While I typically work from life, I was asked to paint this by the family from one of their favorite photographs from the past.
