 Nature is the greatest teacher. It is nature and my love for it that inspired me to work outdoors "en plein air". I enjoy the challenge of trying to capture the landscape before the light changes and shadows disappear. Yes, it's often too hot or too cold or too windy, but true light and true color are found only there. I hope my work gives you a sense of the many places I visit, what I see, and what I feel.
